Stephen J. DeBoer joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2019. One year later, he partnered with his father-in-law and the firm was renamed to Liberatore DeBoer P.C. With more than ten years of experience in practicing law, Stephen focuses primarily on residential and commercial real estate, business law, estate planning, and estate administration. Stephen has successfully represented individuals, businesses, builders, and churches across all areas of his practice. He has closed hundreds of real estate transactions and has handled a wide range of business matters. Whether drafting an estate plan for a family, resolving a real estate title issue, or advising a business owner, Stephen’s aim is to help others through personal integrity and quality service.

Stephen graduated from Regent University School of Law in 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Thomas Edison University.

Stephen currently serves as Chairman of the Chesapeake Board of Zoning Appeals and as President of the Chesapeake Bar Association. He is also a member of the selective Blackstone Legal Fellowship.

Stephen lives in Chesapeake with his wife, two daughters, and their golden retriever. He is a member of Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church and enjoys exercise and the outdoors.
